Ugh! I was all prepared to write a post showing off my 1 month length check. I was feeling like my hair grew so much since my big chop 1 month ago. I finally took pics from the correct side of my face. I began uploading them and doing the comparison… and I barely see any difference! I barely even knew which pics were from July and which ones were from August! How disappointing! LOL.

I guess hair growth in 1 month would be hard to see huh? I’d probably have to get a ruler to actually measure it. *smh* How about I don’t do length checks frequently. Maybe every other month. An inch of growth should be noticeable, right?

In other news, I bought the fabric markers to make my length check t-shirt. I was supposed to make it today since I was off, but… you know how that gets. It doesn’t matter anyway, my hair is nowhere near reaching any marks on a t-shirt. LOL

Last night I did absolutely nothing with my hair. When I say nothing, I mean nothing… nada… zero… zilch. I didn’t even pass my fingers through it. I just put my satin bonnet on and went to sleep. When I woke up this morning and looked in the mirror, I asked myself why I didn’t twist my hair last night, but I just put on my headband and left the house.

All day today people kept saying that my hair looked nice. Every time I saw myself in the mirror, all I could do was laugh… literally! I looked a hot mess! LOL. I could have at least fluffed it and separated the twists a little. Instead, I just let it be, but I most definitely twisted my hair tonight.

I feel like since I cut my hair, I don’t have as much to blog about. There’s no transitioning struggle, there aren’t too many different styles, I’ve kind of reached a plateau. At this point, it’s all about hair growth. Which reminds me, I wanted to make a growth chart T-shirt. Perhaps I’ll do that during this hurricane Irene weekend.
