I got my Vatika Oil from The Curvealicious Chronicles Giveaway! As soon as I got it, I put some in my hair. I love the way it smells. It smells to me like it has ginger in it, so much so that I looked at the ingredients to see if it did. That’s when I discovered that it has henna, brahmi and amla oil and other interesting ingredients.

It worked so well on my dry hair that I put a little in my KimmayTube Leave in, which I just started using again.

Yesterday I tried it on my wet hair and it kinda gave me that coconut oil feeling, which is hard hair. I just twisted my hair up and today it feels so moisturized. I did apply other products though, like Kinky Curly Knot Today, Curls Creme Brulee and a little Kinky Curly Spiral Spritz.

I was beginning to feel like my hair was getting dry from being in the ponytail and I was manipulating it more, so back to twisting all the time. Thank God I haven’t seen any breakage and I’m still seeing growth.

It’s extra curly and looks extra short, but it’s extra moisturized!

I must say my twistout came out pretty nice when I used the Kinky Curly Curling Custard. My hair was a little crunchier than I expected, but maybe I used more than necessary. It worked out well though because it rained all day yesterday and my style still held up.

What I didn’t like about it was that my hair felt like it had a film on it after it dried. It wasn’t a bad product, but I think I like the ORS Twist N Loc Gel better.

Needless to say, I retwisted my hair last night with ORS Twist N Loc Gel. My 2nd day hair is always better than my first day hair now. That is the complete opposite of how it was when I was dealing with the two textures.

My 2nd day hair is stretched more and has more definition from the twists instead of definition from my curl pattern.

Today was a great hair day. Not to mention, I finally got my M•A•C – All of my purple life lipgloss. *smiles*
