You want big hair?!

I’ll give you big hair!

This weekend I attempted Bantu Knots (again). I washed my hair on Friday night and twisted and Bantu Knotted 8 sections. Four in the back and four on top.

Bantu Knots are a weird thing for me because I’m not really sure how I expect it to come out. Maybe it’s better that way because it saves me the disappointment.

The plan was that if it came out looking crazy, I would straighten it… until I saw the forecast for the week.

I want no parts of that rain business. I’ll be bunning all week.

When I untwisted my hair, it looked a little crazy, but… IT WAS THE WEEKEND! If you can’t be free on the weekend, then when can you be free? So… I just went with it!

Manicure Monday

Ok, I cheated. I actually did this on Saturday, but it’s the manicure for the week.

It’s Sally Hansen Salon Effects in Pink-a-dot. This was an Easter design that I bought but haven’t used until now, so you likely wouldn’t find it in the store.

Loved it in the packaging, but not my favorite design on my hands. It’s here for the week though.
