Amazing Hair Growth

This stuff right here… THE TRUTH! I washed and deep conditioned my hair and used it as a leave in and it was fabulous. The smell is amazing!

I blow dried my hair and straightened it with my curling iron. Flatirons never quite worked for me. I got the idea to put a little bit more of the Darcy’s Botanical – Pumpkin Seed Curl Moisturizing Conditioner on my dry, straightened hair after I wrapped it. I put my scarf on my head quickly before it had time to curl and my hair was delicious the next morning.

Winter is the season where my hair flourishes. I’ve been blow drying my hair to prevent ssk’s because those are what causes me to trim my hair super often like a madwoman and it’s what prevents me from seeing amazing hair growth. So far so good!

I knew my hair was growing, but when Marsha did an impromptu length at brunch, she said “Oh, so you’re about bra strap length!” Now, I clearly remember from my last length check (now that I have my official length check t-shirt) that I was a little above BSL, so I decided to measure it. Look at me!

My hair was blow dried in the pic on the left and blow dried and straightened with the curling iron in the pic on the right, so the length of all of my hair looks different, but if you pay attention to the piece that I’ve stretched, I’d say I’ve gained a little more than an inch in 1.5 months. Talk about fast hair growth!

Moisturizing and protective styling is the trick!

  1. NICE!!!! That is awesome!! You knot-out was so pretty! Oh, and haven’t I been telling you about the Darcy’s Pumpkin Seed Rinse conditioner for forever?!?! Love it!!! Smells so good and is so moisturizing!! I would have NEVER thought to try it as a moisturizer on straightened hair though!! Did you l use it as your deep conditioner too or did you use something else for that?

  2. OK 1) you’re bringing out the PJ in me. I have yet to try this line lol
    2) your hair always looks fabulous! it’s amazing how much growth you get when you do very little to your hair.

i can’t wait to see you get to the next length on the shirt 🙂 I did my check last week as part of a hair growth contest and my longest length is 16 inches. I was shocked. Goal is to gin 3 more in the next 6 months

    • You know my PJ itch never goes away! Lol. It took me forever to try that line. Shelli is right, she’s been raving about it forever and I always overlooked it.

You’re right that my hair does well when I do nothing to it. Honestly, I think my hair can take a lot of manipulation, it’s showing a lot of growth now because I stopped trimming it allllllll the time. Without a plethora of ssk’s I have no reason to trim. You’re the main one who kept telling me to stop trimming. Lol. I thank you for that.

It’s funny that you mentioned the length of your longest strand. I was just thinking about that last night. We measure BSL etc, but that’s a different length of hair for each person. I was planning to measure my actual strand today.
