Happy New Year fam!
I wanted to try something new, so I tried out my new Curlformers for New Years Eve. I know… I know… I always say never try new styles when you actually have somewhere to go, but… *shrugs*
I pre-poo’d, washed and deep conditioned my hair. I applied leave in and extra virgin olive oil to my hair and set my hair with the Curlformers.
I previously watched a video or two on YouTube to see how to operate these weird Curlformers, so I pretty much knew what to expect. The application was easy. I mentally sectioned my hair to use all 40 Curlformers and that’s exactly how it worked out.
It took me about 1 hour to put all of them in, although it didn’t seem that long at all. I sat under the dryer for about an hour because I had to go out to celebrate the new year, so there was no time to let it air dry. I can’t even imagine how people sleep in them! I value my sleep too much to have uncomfortable sleep.
When I took the Curlformers out, the results were phenomenal! I’m pleased. It wasn’t until after I set my hair that I realized that I didn’t apply any products with hold. Tsk! My hair came out super soft though. I’d definitely use these again.
As far as sleeping goes, pineappling never worked for me, so I put on my satin bonnet and we’ll see what tomorrow brings. *fingers crossed*

Very pretty, I am going to try curlformer this year for sure!! thanks for sharing
You definitely should! It was much easier than I expected.
Okay, I’m gonna need you to come to the house to do mine. LOL!!! I’m so intimidated by them. I think a TnC works just fine for me. I should just raffle them off in a giveaway at this point! LOL!!
But, they it turned out great. Now, separate those curls and fluff!!! LOL!!! I’m always trying to get you to rock big hair, aren’t I ;)?
You know I didn’t fluff because I was trying to get second and third day hair. I achieved second… third? not so much.
You should try them still.
Love them!!! Perfect new years hair! I associate new years day with ringlets lol!
