Vacation Hair

I’ll be going on a cruise at the end of the month to celebrate my birthday. I was thinking of vacation hairstyles. I usually just do a wash and go ponytail while I’m on vacation. It’s the easiest thing to do and maintain and it looks decent.

Since its my birthday, I wanted something a bit different instead of just a ponytail on my birthday.

Getting a weave crossed my mind and I’ve been toying with the idea. I have so many pros and cons regarding this weave situation. I’ve never had one before and I have no clue what to expect.

What do you think? Have you ever had a weave? What vacation styles do you suggest?

XOXO,

  1. A weave is a great way to achieve, a certain look and also a ps (depending on how its installed and treated whilst on your head) nonetheless its fun, so go for it!
    any particular style?

  2. I think braids is better for a cruise vacation. I don’t know about the weave too much because you have to blend your hair of you are going to leave some of your hair out.

  3. I would suggest braids too. As a former sew-in weave wearer you’ve got to be EXTRA careful with the hair you chose and getting it wet. I think it will cause more problems than ease on a cruise. Have fun and Happy b-day!

  4. I did tracks before, but if your going someplace warm, I would not recommend it due to it making you feel hot. But, if that’s not a concern, I’d go with something that matches your natural hair texture under humidity so blending isn’t an issue. I’d probably go with twists if I had your lush locks though!!! You could keep them in until last couple days and then rock a banging twist out! Or have your sister hook you up with a cute updo like one of the styles featured on this bglh post today!!!!:
