Sooooo day 4 of the Terressentials Hair Wash was two washes today. I realized that my curls are very defined when my hair is wet, but once it dries it’s a mess. Using no other products leads me to have consistently bad hair days. I’m not a fan of bad hair days!

Today I used EVOO after my wash and pulled my hair back into a ponytail with two twists. I’ve decided that tomorrow night will be my fifth and final wash and I’ll be trimming my ends and straightening my hair this weekend

I like the Terressentials Hair Wash a lot, however I don’t like washing my hair everyday. I’m not sure I feel any real difference in my hair. My hair definitely looks different though.

In both pics, my hair is styled using the “Winter Wash & Go” method. The left is pre-THW, the right is post-THW. You be the judge!

Last night I spent hours looking at natural hair sites and ended up going to bed super late. I haven’t done that in a while. There’s just so much information out there.

I’m glad I decided to try the Terressentials Hair Wash. I think I may have misinterpreted some things. It seems like it’s ok for me to use olive oil during this detox process to moisturize my hair (or is it?). It is organic, so that’s a plus. I haven’t used it yet though. I’ll try to go without anything else for the entire week.

That bun that I tried to have today was a major FAIL! My hair was a mess. It’s impossible to tame the front of my hair without product. I guess that’s where headbands come in handy. I meant to take a pic, but I completely forgot to before I washed it.

Today is day 3 of washing. If nothing else, my hair smells really good and minty. I did two washes today. I’ve been leaving the last wash in for at least 30 minutes before rinsing. My curls look and feel marvelous when my hair is wet. Tonight I did the “Winter Wash & Go” method. In the morning, I plan to put it in the banana clip. My guess is that tomorrow will be a wild hair day also.

I’m mainly concerned about my ends. You know I’m in an endless battle against single strand knots. I feel like I’m finally getting them under control, but I don’t know if all of this washing and leaving my hair wet will set me back a bit. I plan to trim my ends (again) in another week or two though.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings. I’ll be sure to take pics.
