Bun With a Twist

I remember when I first cut my hair and my hair wasn’t long enough to make a bun. Now look at me. My bun isn’t even stuffed anymore! That’s progress.

To make this bun, I put my hair in a ponytail. I then left out three small sections of hair and made a regular bun with the rest of my hair. I made the three small sections into three 3-strand twists and wrapped them around my bun. If my hair was longer, I would have only used one section.

I won’t be posting buns everyday… only the interesting or new buns. You know I’m good for doing a style and keeping the same style for the entire week!

XOXO,
Rece

  1. I see that you blow dry your hair, what heat protect ant do you use? I would like to start blow drying my hair during the winter months.

    • When I blow-dry my hair I don’t use a heat protectant. (bad, bad, bad! lol) I mainly use one if I’m going to straighten my hair with the InStyler. When I do, I use fantasia IC Heat Protector Straightening Serum.
