I finally tried the My Honey Child – Olive You Deep Conditioner. It felt so creamy and moisturizing when I first put it in my hair. I just knew my hair would love it. When I went to rinse it out though, I feel like the whole thing rinsed out. I expected there to be a slight creamy/oily residue, but there was none. That’s not to say that the product isn’t good, just not what I expected. I love love love the smell. It smells like it has some kind of rose product in it.
When my hair dries, I’ll see just how moisturized or shiny it really is. I think the next time I use it, I’ll mix some additional oils in it. I almost mixed some oils in it today, but I wanted to give the product a fair shot without any additions.
I also applied some of the Blended Beauty – Curly Frizz Pudding to my damp hair after I washed and conditioned it. Again, it’s not as moisturizing as I expected. I don’t think I really have a use for this product now, but I’m almost positive that it’ll come in handy for styling in the near future. The smell is delicious as well.
What I really need is a good moisturizer. I’m thinking something water based or aloe based would be good. Any suggestions?
I tried OliveYou when Nikki was raving about it. I was pretty underwhelmed. I planned on using it again with added oils and honey, but have had so many other DCs, it’s sat under the sink waiting for it turn at bat again. It was fine, just nothing special on my hair.
I felt that way too, but I’m going to give it another shot and doctor it up a bit. I think it’ll be great!
