I wrote a post about my vacation hair, but this is far more exciting, so that will have to wait.
Last night I untwisted my hair and decided to try the Naptural85 wash and go method. One of you lovely ladies told me about it when I first cut my hair, but I never actually tried it.
I went through the whole process yesterday (check out the video) and today I untwisted. This was also the first time I washed my hair in twists. I must say that I have mixed feelings about the results. I absolutely LOVE the definition of my curls…
…but the length of my hair just isn’t enough for me to fully like a wash and go on myself… as I expected.
But I worked it out. I whipped out the banana clip and made it happen. I like the way my hair feels, but the next time, I’ll apply a little oil before I leave it to air dry rather than after. She doesn’t use any product at all.
This method will DEFINITELY be in the arsenal for when my hair is long!

A Hair Story... 
What’s with that face? LOL. Girl you know it doesn’t even look that bad, at least to me it doesn’t. I actually watched Naptural85’s video a while ago, and I like her method of achieving a WnG. She uses the Terresential mud wash and doesn’t use conditioner or oils after her washes. The Pjism in me wants to try it.
LOL! I don’t like the short hair wash and go look. Now I have something else to look forward to when my hair is long.
I always wonder how people keep their hair with no product, but this method works great and my hair feels soft too.
If it wasn’t for my scalp issues, I would try the mud wash. You should try it so I can live vicariously through you. Lol.
Now that I finally washed my hair in twists, I actually liked it. I didn’t expect to.
I wanted to try this for the longest time. I notice she didn’t use product either. I think I will use this next time in the summer though. I hate wet hair.
Go for it! It was a great experience. Quick and easy. =)

Oooh Recey Rece I love that definition 🙂 i know what you mean though about the length. I don’t do wash and go’s though. My hair just looks a little “nappy” for lack of a better word and very different from my regular curl pattern. it dries looking ick.

Rece, your curls look so pretty and defined!! I’m gonna get you over this length thing;). All I wore was WnGs when I big chopped and long after:). With a little shaping and fluffing, it’ll grow on you;). I just kind of did a modified Naptural85 Wash and Go. But, really, it was what I normally do, but at night! LOL! I have this GC for Terressentials. I need to go ahead and order a wash!! I don’t know about the “no product” thing … I may need my gunk a little too much;). But, I can definitely see the benefit as I’m sure that my hair would actually dry overnight if I did.
On another note, what made you change your theme? You got some plans for us:)? Btw, is purple your favorite color? It’s mine … more deep plum purple though. I think it’s a Pisces thing if it is:). Purple and turquoise/aqua:).
GC at Terressentials?! Tell me more! The no product thing wasn’t bad at all. My hair felt perfectly fine for the first two days, then I rewashed. I did use a little oil the second time I washed and my hair didn’t dry in the morning and the curls weren’t as defined. *thumbs down*
Purple is my favorite color. It’s gotta be the Pisces thing! I know your bday is this month. We both have milestone birthdays this year.
