Transitioning is like trying to kick a drug habit (I imagine). You do well for a while. You follow all of the rules. You see progress and then one day when you’re not in the right frame of mind, you go against everything you’ve been doing and everything that makes sense. The end result: having to start over again… practically.
When you start over, you vow that you’ll never get off track again. Why would you need to go off track if everything is working out so well? You may decide to start over a little differently this time, either to compensate for the damages just done, or because you feel like a new way will help to keep you focused.
Ultimately, there’s no quick fix. It’s a long, step by step process, where the results are great, but take a long time to be realized. Will you successfully make it to the other side?
